Sweet Batik is Closed for Vacation

Sweet Batik is closed for vacation from Sunday, August 28th through Wednesday, September 7th, reopening for business again on Thursday, September 8th for Eid Holiday.

All questions still will be answered, but a slower rate. And all inquries will be processed start on Thursday, September 8th.

For Muslims around the world, we would like to wish you a warm Happy Eid-ul Fitr. For those who aren't familiar with Ramadhan fasting month and Eid, here are a brief explaination taken from one of Polkadot Inks product:

"The month of Ramadhan is celebrated by over 1.5 billion Muslims all over the world. Ramadhan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calender and it begins with the sighting of the new moon when Muslims abstain from food, water, any kind of tobacco, sexual contact with the spouse between dawn and sunset (pregant, postpartum, nursing, traveller, sick person don't have to fast).

Ordained in the Qur'an, the fast is an exacting act of deeply personal whorship in which Muslims seek a raised level of God-consciousness. The fasting is intended to help teach Muslims self-discipline, self-restraint, generosity.

When the present of the crescent new moon has been officially sighted, the month of Ramadhan is declared over, and the month of Shawwal is begins. The end of Ramadhan is marked by a three-day period known as Eid-ul Fitr. It is a joyous time, beginning with a special prayer, and accompanied by celebration, socializing, festive meals and modest gift-giving, especially to children.

At the beginning of Ramadhan, it is appropriate to wish Muslims "Ramadhan Mubarak" which means "Blessed Ramadhan" (" Selamat Ramadhan" in Bahasa Indonesia) and "Eid Mubarak" during Eid-ul Fitr ("Selamat Lebaran" in Bahasa
Indonesia).
